Overview
Prefense™ Early Detection and Notification System™ is designed to protect patients from medical harm. The combination of the GZ, NTX, or other Nihon Kohden transmitters, and Prefense allows hospital patients to freely ambulate while measuring
physiological parameters (HR, NIBP, SpO2, CO2, and respiration).
Benefits
- Prefense allows hospital staff to monitor patient’s vital signs and waveforms, along with other patient information.
- A patient’s data can be accessed simultaneously at up to four Prefense monitors.
- Prefense can continuously and simultaneously monitor up to 40 beds and has various windows to monitor a patient’s status.
